Other remarkable issues this year:

Great return from In Flames with Sounds Of A Playground Fading’, ICS Vortex started solo with ‘Storm Seeker’, HammerFall did well with ‘Infected’ and Edguy with ‘The Age Of The Joker’ as far as power metal concerns go, Einherjer, the old Viking troup returned to the scene with an album, Communic did surprise with a very good album, Opeth went totally into seventies prog, quite good, but Dark Suns did it better, Dream Theater delivered amazing album without drum beast Portnoy, Pain of Salvation keeps doing ok things but in that genre ‘Into The Wild’ of Eddie Vedder surpasses it, Falloch is another great newcomer, Fen did release a great album in February 2011, I got hooked by Altar of Plagues, Helheim and Helrunar rules, Dornenreich captivates, and looking forward to Empyrium reunion on stage!!!
