MORBID ANGEL PRESS RELEASE
Legendary death metal pioneers MORBID ANGEL, whose next album is to be expected later this year, issued the following statement in order to address the rumors regarding drummer Pete Sandoval... "World Management and MORBID ANGEL would like to let the fans know that rumors about Pedro Sandoval's back surgery are in fact true. Pete has suffered for a long time with a deteriorating disc problem. He was in daily pain and needed to have this done. He has recently been treated by a laser back surgery specialist in Tampa, Florida. He is currently in rehabilitation and doing well. Pete is part of our family and the band's History and we all wish him well and a full recovery. Unfortunately this type of injury, subsequent surgery and rehab cannot be rushed and it will take ample time for him to hopefully be back behind his drums again and out on tour with MORBID ANGEL. The band is moving forward on their next recording with Tim Yeung. Currently the guys are in rehearsals in Tampa putting their finishing touches on the songs for the new album, which is slated for later this year with subsequent touring world wide."
KALEDON SIGNS WITH SCARLET RECORDS
Veteran power metallers Kaledon have inked a deal with Scarlet Records for the release of their new album 'Legend Of The Forgotten Reign Chapter VI: The Last Night On The Battlefield', the sixth installment of the saga started in 2002. Having collaborated with first class musicians such as Jorg Michael (Stratovarius) and having shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the metal scene (Ronnie James Dio, Anvil, Gamma Ray, Tankard and Tony Martin among others), Kaledon is without doubt more than worth to check out! The new album has been described as a return to the band's power metal roots: powerful, melodic and extremely captivating! The beautiful atwork has been made by renowned artist JP Fournier (Edguy, Avantasia, Immortal) and it perfectly depicts the band's epic music as never before! Giuseppe Orlando (Novembre) produced the album, which is expected to be released in July 2010. More info on www.kaledon.com and www.myspace.com/kaledonband

CRASHDÃET INKED A DEAL WITH FRONTIERS
Frontiers Records signs Sweden Sleaze Rock’s finest CRASHDÃET for the release of the band’s third album
“Generation Wild†out on APRIL 23rd in Europe (excluding Scandinavia)
Napoli, March, 2010 – CRASHDÃET was born in a new millennium where the rock n roll scene had almost died out. No looks, no tricks, no flash and balls and definitely a lack of big songs. Inspired by bands like SKID ROW, GUNS ´N ROSES, KISS and W.A.S.P, CRASHDÃET brought back the big shows, the rough-edge sleaze anthems and the rawness of an unpredictable and dangerous band.
Discovered by Universal Music in 2004 after making a lot of noise down in the gutter of the Swedish underground, CRASHDÃET became the first Sleaze Rock act to be signed directly to a major record company in over 10 years.
The debut album “Rest in Sleaze†entered the Swedish national album chart at position No. 12. The singles and videos like “Riot In Everyoneâ€, “It’s A Miracleâ€, and gold selling “Breakin The Chainz†were played frequently on radio and television. CRASHDÃET embarked on a Swedish tour in the fall of 2005 to support the new album and they were on the verge of the big breakthrough when tragedy struck: on January 20th of 2006 singer Dave Lepard was found dead in his apartment after committing suicide. The surviving members were devastated and decided to break up the band shortly after. But on demand of the fans the three ex members decided to start up the band and put out ads for a singer.
In December 2006 the band confirmed the rumours about the newly found singer Olliver. The band started to work on their second album “The Unattractive Revolution†that was released in October 2007. Tours followed throughout Europe the rest of the year and up until the summer of 2008. After that the band parted ways with Olliver. In June of 2009 CRASHDÃET revealed Stockholm-based Simon Cruz as the new frontman of the band. This is said to me the most solid line up ever!
The third album "Generation Wild" has been produced by the hit maker producing team RamPac and mixed by Tobias Lindell (Mustasch, Sister Sin) and marks the start of the cooperation with Frontiers Records, who will handle the release in Europe, excluding Scandinavia.
“We are very happy about the new deal with Frontiers. They are definitely the best label for the glam/sleaze genre in the worldâ€, says bassist Peter London.
“Generation Wild†includes the following tracks: Armageddon; So Alive; Generation Wild; Rebel; Save Her; Down With the Dust; Native Nature; Chemical; Bound to Fall; Beautiful Pain.
CRASHDÃET are: Martin Sweet – Guitar Simon Cruz – Vocal Peter London – Bass Eric Young – Drums

METHUSALEM NEWS
The Dutch Heavy Metal band METHUSALEM has set the release-date for their upcoming album "Unite and Conquer " at March 26, 2010. This self-financed album will be distributed by Rock Inc. When the band decided that it was time for a new, full-length album, they threw overboard all biases about how heavy metal should sound and listened very carefully to what producer Arno Krabman from Graveland Studios had to say about their current style. The result is an album that features a bunch of songs that are all miles apart, some more traditional, some more modern, yet all fitting perfectly into Methusalem’s philosophy. That philosophy is still to rock the world with hard rock and heavy metal, but in stead of living in the past, they’ve now made an album that remembers the past. The album was mastered by an international mastering professional, Darius van Helfteren, who had also previously worked with Judas Priest and the Scorpions. He gave the album that last edge that it needed to sound truly great. Finnish graphic designer Jan Yrlund was asked to create the artwork and succeeded in capturing the overall lyrical theme of the album in the cover artwork. METHUSALEM has uploaded an album preview and a video teaser at their MySpace : www.myspace.com/methusalemband To celebrate the release of "Unite and Conquer", the band will party online with their fans during a 4 hour Online MySpace Release Party, where the new album will be for streaming for 4 hours at March 25 from 19.00 till 23.00 CET. Who wants to celebrate this release live with the band, can visit the Official Live Release Party at April 1 at the Gloppe in Leeuwarden (NL).

UK hardcore metal act O.M.T. (Our Malevolent Tyranny) will support Impiety and Setherial on UK dates in April. Dates confirmed are April 24 - The Crypt, Hastings UK April 25 - The Central, Nottingham UK April 26 - Purple Turtle, Camden, London UK April 27 - Bierkeller, Bristol UK O.M.T.'s debut album, 'Anamantium', received it's worldwide release through the Rising Records label in January. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Mark Daghorn (Cradle Of Filth, Marillion) at New Rising Recording Studios in the UK. 'Anamantium' is an exceptional debut - eleven tracks of crunching hardcore melodic metal, leading one reviewer to declare that O.M.T. have "got something for the new, modern audience whilst still having enough substance and rawness to keep us crusty f*****s happy!" The debut sees O.M.T. ready to claim their own unique niche in the metal world, having created a sound that is distinctively their own, packed full of searing guitar riffs and harmonies, devastating rhythm and gut wrenching vocals. O.M.T. originally came together in 2007 with one aim - to spread the metal!! After several changes and a few altercations the band settled on the current line up of Stewart Ferguson (Vocals), Joff Bailey (Lead Guitar), Preston Timmins (Rhythm Guitar), David Steele (Bass Guitar), Mike Steele (Drums). The UK South Coast metallers quickly built a frenzied local following which continues to grow and spread around the world. An unlikely recent UK tour with flamenco rockers Breed 77 was an unqualified success, winning the band many new fans. For more information visit www.myspace.com/omtmusic
