English:

Seven years after ‘The Greatest Wonder’, Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69/Unisonic) returns with a new quite keyboard/piano driven album. Keyboard player Eric worked with countless bands and is currently touring with The Babys.

The opener is catchy, up tempo, melodic AOR with majestic keys, delicious guitar and backing vocals in a polished production. ‘Tell Me’ is as catchy but a bit sturdier a.o. in the great break. A power ballad follows, while ‘I Believe’ is sturdier again. Journey-like ‘Night To Remember’ is very catchy, up tempo with great keyboard and ditto guitar. After ‘The Love’, with brilliant solo, it is clear that we have excellent musicians in strong, melodic songs, well produced by Dennis, who also wrote them and performs the vocal duties. In the ballad ‘golden Dreams’ he shows his voice can sound sensitive as well. And so they continue effortlessly past a.o. the strong ‘Finally’ to the fragile closing ballad.

In short, in every aspect, this is a great AOR album!

Nederlands:

‘Tell Me’ is even catchy maar iets steviger, o.a. in de prima break.
