New drummer of Pain of Salvation finally revealed
Pain of Salvation with new drummer
The search is over, and a new drummer has now joined the band. The level of competition and skills among the few drummers who remained at the top of the crop (out of the hundreds of hopeful drummers initially applying) was extremely high, but this guy outplayed everyone in the end. To the extent, it might be added, that the band even chose to go for the one non-Swede finalist.
So, who could this phantom be?
His name is Leo Margarit. This is his own introduction:
I was born in 1981 in the south of France.I've started to play drums at the age of 5. After a few years spent in the local music school, I moved to Montpellier, to be student in the Concervatory of Music in 1996.I've had my diplomas of classical percussions and chamber music in 2000. After this I've teached drums and percussions in different music schools and played with lot of bands... I'm actually The new drummer of Pain Of Salvation (www.painofsalvation.com). So I'm gonna move to Sweden at the end of november.
